Scope and operator
This policy covers Afterlove and its invitation-only video-generation beta. Contact the operator through the channel that supplied your invitation. Public operator and support details will be published before open registration.
Google sign-in and appearance preferences
Google sign-in requests your basic profile (name and profile image), email address and Google account identifier. Your Google password stays with Google. After a successful sign-in, the website keeps your profile and session in encrypted, HttpOnly cookies for up to seven days. Provider access tokens are not stored in these session cookies, and Google sign-in does not add your profile to the video-task database.
Signing out clears the authentication cookies in the current browser. Sessions in other browsers are separate; there is currently no cross-device session management. Signing in does not sync video history between devices or replace the invitation code required for generation.
The light/dark appearance preference is stored locally under afterlove-theme. Before you choose a mode, the website follows your device's appearance setting. You can clear this preference through your browser's site-data controls.
Photos before submission
Selected photos stay in browser memory until you start generation. The browser resizes them to a maximum of 1600 pixels and re-encodes them as JPEG, removing original metadata. Closing the page clears the selections. Raw photos are not saved in browser local storage or Cloudflare D1.
Processing and retention
After submission, photos pass through our Cloudflare server to Kie, which processes the references and prompt for Seedance 2.5 video generation. Only upload photos you may use with permission from everyone pictured.
Kie documents 24-hour expiry for temporary uploads, 14-day retention for generated media, and two-month retention for task logs. Download finished videos promptly. These are provider-stated retention windows, not a guarantee that this site can erase provider backups. We make no unverified claim that a provider never retains information or uses it for training.
Removing reference links
After a task completes or fails, Remove reference links clears the reference URLs stored in our task record. Kie does not document an immediate file-deletion API in this integration. This action does not immediately delete uploaded provider files, generated videos, downloaded copies or provider logs. Temporary-upload expiry remains separate.
Older tasks created before the Kie migration may contain APIMart asset-library references. Those stay assigned to their original provider and can use the original provider deletion request; they are never forwarded to Kie.
Task records and access
Cloudflare D1 stores a task ID, hash of its random access token, video settings, provider identity, reference URLs, provider task ID, result URL, timestamps and status. Raw photos are not stored in D1. Records currently remain until operator cleanup; a formal retention schedule will be published before public launch.
Your browser keeps the task ID and token in session storage, allowing recovery in the same tab session. Treat the token as a password. Losing it can prevent task recovery. Provider media links may be accessible to anyone with the complete URL. The explicitly labeled fictional demo is public; private user tasks are not published in a gallery.
Connection information and your choices
Cloudflare processes connection information to deliver the site. The connecting IP supports a short-term rate limit and is not copied into the task table. Application invocation logs are disabled; the application does not intentionally log photos, invitation codes or API keys. Infrastructure providers maintain their own operational records.
A language-preference cookie may be used. No advertising or analytics tracker is enabled. Removing photos before submission prevents upload. Clearing browser data does not cancel an accepted provider task. If a task or upload is interrupted, contact the beta operator with the task ID for help.
